Format Varies. Speaker Experience, Strength & Hope Chair, Topic, Literature, Just for Today.
Every Friday evening in Ifield Green, this Narcotics Anonymous group meets at the Quaker Meeting Hall on Langley Lane, just off Rusper Road. Doors open ahead of the 19:30 start, and the meeting runs for an hour and a half. The format changes week to week, so you might find a speaker sharing their experience, strength and hope, a topic discussion, a literature study, or a session working through the Just For Today book. Whatever the shape of the night, the aim stays the same: NA members supporting each other and anyone with a desire to stop using drugs. Parking is available at the venue, the hall is wheelchair accessible, and pets are welcome. A steady, familiar way to round off the working week.
Who can attend this meeting?
This is a closed NA meeting, which means it's for people who have a desire to stop using drugs. If that's you, you're welcome — whether it's your first meeting or your hundredth. Family, friends and professionals looking for an open meeting should seek one out elsewhere.
Do I need to book or pay?
No. There's no booking and no charge to attend. NA is self-supporting through members' own contributions, so a basket is passed round for anyone who wishes to give, but you never have to. Just turn up before 19:30.
Is the venue accessible, and can I bring my dog?
Yes on both counts. The Quaker Meeting Hall is wheelchair accessible and has parking available on site. Pets are welcome, so you can bring your dog along.
