About this meeting

This Inclusion LGBTQIA+ meeting brings Narcotics Anonymous together every Friday evening in central Leeds, running from 7pm for an hour and a half at The Basement Meeting Room inside Change Grow Live. The format varies week to week, taking in speaker shares, literature and book study, so there's plenty of scope to listen or take part as you feel able. To find the room, look for the stone staircase beside 34 Albion Place, behind the black metal fencing and signposted "the basement". A Meet and Greet service member waits at Albion Place with a rainbow umbrella for up to 20 minutes before the start, so if you're new or nervous, just approach them and you'll be welcomed in. Children are welcome. The meeting sits five to ten minutes' walk from all city centre transport.

Who can come to this meeting?

This is an open meeting with an LGBTQIA+ focus, so anyone is welcome, including family, friends and professionals. It's aimed at people with a desire to stop using drugs, but you don't need to have stopped to attend. Children are welcome too.

Do I need to book, and is there a cost?

No booking is needed and there's no charge to attend. Just turn up. If you'd like a warm welcome, a service member stands at Albion Place with a rainbow umbrella for up to 20 minutes before the 7pm start.

How do I get there and where can I park?

The venue is five to ten minutes' walk from Leeds city centre stations and the bus station. Paid parking is nearby at Q-Park Albion Street and NCP The Core; disabled parking is available on Albion Street with the Blue Badge scheme. For mobility support, the group recommends joining their online meeting first to plan ahead.
