The Format of the Meeting is an Experience, Strength & Hope Main Chair Every Week. MAC Meeting. Bus Routes: Any Bus to Winchester Bus Station Stand D or F
This Saturday evening Narcotics Anonymous meeting gathers at the Friends Meeting House on Colebrook Street in central Winchester, running from 18:00 for an hour and a quarter. Each week features a main chair sharing their experience, strength and hope, followed by open sharing among those present. It's a members-only meeting, held for anyone with a desire to stop using drugs. This is a MAC (medically assisted community) friendly meeting, so members using prescribed medication as part of their recovery are welcome. Getting here is straightforward by bus: take any service to Winchester Bus Station and use stand D or F, then it's a short walk. Please note no children or pets, keeping the space settled for those attending.
Who can come to this meeting?
This is a closed meeting, which simply means it's for people who have a desire to stop using drugs, rather than open to the general public or observers. If that describes you, you're welcome. If you're unsure whether NA is right for you, come along and see.
Do I need to book, and is there a cost?
No booking is needed and there's no charge to attend. Just turn up on the Saturday. NA is self-supporting through members' own contributions, so a small voluntary donation is passed round, but you're never expected to give anything, especially as a newcomer.
How do I get there by public transport?
Take any bus to Winchester Bus Station and use stand D or F. From there the Friends Meeting House at 16 Colebrook Street is a short walk into the centre of town.
