The Power House group meets every Tuesday evening in central Kendal, gathering at 19:00 for an hour and a quarter. You'll find it at the Lower Door of The Shakespeare Centre on Highgate, opposite Iceland: head up the alley next to the Shakespeare Pub, below Kings Foodbank. The format revolves week to week, taking in speaker meetings, step study, book study, sharing and a main chair on experience, strength and hope, with NA literature used throughout. Newcomers are made especially welcome here, and children are welcome too. As an open meeting, anyone with an interest in Narcotics Anonymous can come along, whether you're attending for yourself or supporting someone else. No need to arrange anything in advance.
Who can attend this meeting?
This is an open meeting, so anyone is welcome, including family, friends and professionals, as well as anyone with a desire to stop using drugs. Newcomers and children are welcome too.
Do I need to book, and is there a cost?
There's no booking and no charge. Just turn up on a Tuesday for 19:00. NA is self-supporting through members' own contributions, so a small voluntary donation may be passed round, but you never have to give anything.
