Friday Night Hope brings the Carlisle NA community together each week at St Bedes Church Hall on Wigton Road. Running from 7.30pm for an hour and a half, it's a discussion and participation meeting where the format varies week to week, giving everyone a chance to share and to listen. It's an open meeting, so alongside people in recovery you'll find room for family, friends and anyone curious about how Narcotics Anonymous works. If you're new, arriving a few minutes early gives you time to settle in and find a seat before things begin. There's no pressure to speak, and the shared experience in the room tends to do the talking. The venue has wheelchair access.
Who can come along to this meeting?
Anyone can. As an open meeting, Friday Night Hope welcomes people with a desire to stop using drugs, as well as family members, friends and professionals who want to understand more about NA.
Do I need to book or pay anything?
No. There's no booking and no charge to attend. NA is self-supporting through members' own contributions, so a small voluntary donation is passed round, but you never have to give anything.
Is the venue accessible?
