This Narcotics Anonymous group meets every Wednesday evening at Abbey Road Baptist Church on Carlton Avenue in Barrow-in-Furness, running from 18:30 for one hour. The doors open half an hour beforehand, so there's time to arrive, settle and grab a seat. The format rotates through the month: week one is a Just For Today reading, week two a Spiritual Principle a Day reading, week three an Experience, Strength and Hope main share, and week four a Living Clean reading. Newcomers and beginners are looked after here, and children are welcome. Parking is available at the venue, and the room is wheelchair accessible. The first meeting of each month is an open meeting, which anyone can attend.
Who can come to this meeting?
This is a members' meeting for anyone with a desire to stop using drugs, so most weeks are for people in recovery. The exception is the first Wednesday of each month, which is an open meeting that family, friends and interested visitors are welcome to attend. Newcomers and beginners are especially welcome, and children are too.
