The Format of the Meeting is Reading the Just for Today and Sharing Back.
Held every Monday evening in Stevenage, the Just For Today meeting brings people together in the Church Hall at St. Peters Church, on The Willows. Starting at 6pm and running for an hour, it's an open Narcotics Anonymous meeting, so anyone is welcome to attend. The format is straightforward: members read from the Just For Today book and then share back on what it brings up. There's no pressure to speak if you'd rather just listen. Children are welcome, and so are pets, which makes it easier to come along without worrying about arrangements at home. The hall is wheelchair accessible. Whether it's your first meeting or your fiftieth, you'll find a friendly space to sit down and connect.
Who can come to this meeting?
This is an open Narcotics Anonymous meeting, so anyone is welcome, including family, friends and anyone curious about how NA works. It's aimed at people with a desire to stop using drugs, but you don't need to have decided anything to walk through the door. Children and pets are welcome too.
Do I need to book, and is there a charge?
No booking is needed and there's no charge to attend. Just turn up on Monday for the 6pm start. NA is self-supporting through members' own contributions, so a small voluntary donation is passed around, but nobody is expected to give and no one will ask.
Is the venue accessible?
