This Narcotics Anonymous topic meeting gathers every Monday evening in Shepperton, starting at 20:15 and running for an hour and fifteen minutes. It meets at The Old School Building on New Road (TW17 0QQ). Each week the group focuses on a particular theme or one of the NA traditions, giving members and newcomers something concrete to reflect on and share around. This is an open meeting, so alongside people in recovery, family, friends and interested professionals are welcome to sit in. Newcomers are especially looked after here, and children are welcome, which can ease the practical side of getting to a meeting. If it's your first time, arrive a few minutes early and let someone know you're new — you'll be pointed in the right direction.
Can I come along if I'm not sure I belong in NA?
Yes. This is an open meeting, so anyone can attend, including family and friends and those simply curious about recovery. The only requirement for NA membership is a desire to stop using drugs, and newcomers are made especially welcome here.
Do I need to book, and is there a charge?
No booking is needed and there is no charge to attend. NA meetings are free and run by members themselves; a voluntary contribution may be passed round to cover room costs, but you never have to give anything.
Can I bring my children?
Yes, children are welcome at this meeting, which can make it easier to attend if you don't have childcare. The meeting runs for an hour and fifteen minutes from 20:15 on Mondays.
