This Narcotics Anonymous group meets every Thursday evening at St. Mark's Church on North Road in St. Helens, starting at 18:00 and running for an hour and a half. It's an open meeting, so anyone with an interest in recovery is welcome — whether you're thinking about stopping, already attending, or a family member or friend wanting to understand more. The format varies from week to week, which keeps things fresh and gives newcomers a chance to hear different aspects of the programme. Parking is available at the venue, making it straightforward if you're driving in. Please note pets aren't allowed. If you're new, arriving a few minutes early gives you time to settle in and say hello before things begin.
Can I come along if I'm not sure whether I have a problem yet?
Yes. This is an open meeting, so anyone is welcome, including people who are still deciding, and family or friends. The only requirement for NA membership is a desire to stop using drugs, and you're welcome to simply listen while you work out whether it's right for you.
Do I need to book or pay anything?
No. NA meetings are always free and there's no need to book — just turn up. Groups are self-supporting through voluntary contributions from members, but there's no obligation to give anything, especially as a newcomer.
Is there parking, and can I bring my dog?
Parking is available at St. Mark's Church, which helps if you're arriving by car. Pets aren't allowed at this meeting, so please make other arrangements for any animals.
