Bus Routes: 32/32A Travel Comment: The venue is a 10-15 minute walk from the train station.
This Narcotics Anonymous meeting takes place every Saturday evening at St. Mark's Church on North Road, St. Helens, running from 6pm for an hour and a half. It's an open meeting, so alongside members you'll find family, friends and interested professionals welcome to attend. The format changes week to week, drawing on the Basic Text, speaker shares, step and topic discussion, and general sharing, which keeps things varied. If you're travelling in, the 32 and 32A buses serve the area, and the venue is a 10-15 minute walk from the train station. The room is wheelchair accessible. If you're new, there's no need to book or say anything you're not ready to say — turning up is enough.
Can I come to this meeting if I'm not sure I'm in recovery yet?
Yes. This is an open meeting, so anyone can attend, including people who are still working out where they stand, along with family, friends and professionals. NA is for anyone with a desire to stop using drugs, and you're welcome whether that desire is new or settled.
Do I need to book or pay anything?
No. There's no booking and no charge to attend. NA meetings are free and self-supporting through members' own contributions, so a small voluntary donation is passed round if you'd like to give, but nobody is expected to.
