Ashton-Under-Lyne Thursday Night Meeting

Thursday evenings in Ashton-under-Lyne bring this Narcotics Anonymous group together at Christ Church on Oldham Road. Starting at 7pm and running for around ninety minutes, the meeting combines two formats: a study of the Just For Today book, where members read and reflect on a daily meditation, and a speaker element where someone shares their experience of recovery. It's an open meeting, so alongside people with a desire to stop using drugs, family members, friends and interested professionals are welcome to sit in. The venue is served by the 409 bus route, making it straightforward to reach without a car. The room is wheelchair accessible. Newcomers can simply turn up on the night; there's no need to arrange anything in advance.
