About this meeting

The Chiswick Hugs & Hope Group meets every Sunday evening at 18:00 in the New Parish Hall on Dukes Avenue, opposite the Catholic Church and library. Doors open at 17:30 for fellowship, so there's time to settle in and meet people before things begin. This Narcotics Anonymous meeting runs for an hour and a quarter and follows a candlelit format: an Experience, Strength and Hope chair, followed by general sharing. It's an open meeting, children are welcome, and pets aren't allowed. The room is on the first floor. Press the buzzer for entry, and use the rear fire escape if the main door is shut. Handy for the 110, 237 and 267 buses, and a five-minute walk from the station. Note the venue is unavailable on public holidays.

Common questions

Can I come to this meeting if I'm not sure I'm ready?

Yes. This is an open Narcotics Anonymous meeting, so anyone is welcome, including family, friends and anyone curious about NA. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop using drugs, and you're welcome whether or not you feel certain. Come along, listen and take what's useful.

Is there a charge or do I need to book?

No. NA meetings are always free and there's no need to book. A voluntary collection may be passed around to cover the room and refreshments, but you're never expected to give anything. Just turn up from 17:30 and press the buzzer for entry.

Can I get proof that I attended?

Yes. This meeting can provide meeting attendance confirmation on request to a committee member, which is useful if you need evidence for court, probation or treatment. Just speak to a committee member on the day.
