Cardiff Women’s

Cardiff Women's is a Saturday evening Alcoholics Anonymous meeting held at six o'clock at Canton Uniting Church on Theobald Road. Lasting an hour, it brings together women in the Canton area of the city who share a desire to stop drinking, in a setting where members can talk without the presence of men in the room. As a closed meeting it is reserved for those seeking recovery from alcohol themselves rather than for family, friends or professionals wishing to observe. The church is wheelchair accessible, making it straightforward for anyone with mobility needs to attend. There is no fee and no need to contact anyone beforehand, you can simply arrive shortly before six. Many women find that a meeting limited to women brings a particular kind of ease to sharing, and newcomers are welcomed warmly.
