Aberdare

Aberdare's AA meeting meets on Monday evenings at eight o'clock at Green Street Methodist Church on the High Street, and keeps to a single hour rather than the longer format used elsewhere. It gives the town's members a fixed weekly point to start the week around recovery. It's a closed meeting, for people with a desire to stop drinking under the Third Tradition, rather than open to family, friends or professionals. Wheelchair access at Green Street Methodist Church has not been confirmed, so it would be worth checking directly if you have mobility needs. There's no cost to attend and nothing to book in advance: people generally arrive shortly before eight and take a seat ahead of the meeting starting.
