Kilbirnie

The Kilbirnie meeting takes place every Tuesday at eight in the evening at Bridgend Community Centre on Bridgend itself, and runs for an hour and a half. It's a closed Alcoholics Anonymous meeting, open only to those who have a desire to stop drinking rather than the wider public, so it isn't the meeting to bring a concerned friend or family member to. Bridgend Community Centre is wheelchair accessible. As with any AA meeting, there's nothing to sign up for beforehand: people simply arrive in the minutes before eight, find a seat in the hall, and the meeting starts once the appointed time comes round. It's a small-town meeting, serving Kilbirnie and the surrounding part of North Ayrshire.
