Motherwell Primary Purpose Big Book

Primary Purpose Big Book meets every Monday at 8pm at Motherwell Baptist Church on Windmill Street, with the meeting running for around ninety minutes. As a closed meeting, it is set aside for people who have a desire to stop drinking, rather than family, friends or professionals wanting to observe. There is no charge and nothing needs to be booked, you can simply arrive before eight. The church is wheelchair accessible. Taking its name from AA's focus on helping members stay sober one day at a time, the group works through the Big Book alongside general sharing, giving newcomers and longer-term members a shared point of reference each week.
