Tradition Meeting - Last Monday of the Month. Step Meeting - 2nd last Monday of the Month
Castledrum Keel AA Group meets every Monday at 8.30pm in Keel Community Centre, Castledrum, Co. Kerry. Most weeks the meeting is open discussion, but the format shifts through the month: the second-last Monday is given over to Step work, and the last Monday becomes a Tradition meeting. It is a members meeting, for people with a desire to stop drinking rather than an open session for family, friends or professionals. There is no charge and nothing to book, so anyone who fits that description can simply arrive before the meeting starts. As with most Alcoholics Anonymous meetings, no one is required to speak, and sharing is entirely voluntary. Wheelchair accessibility at Keel Community Centre has not been confirmed, so it would be worth checking directly if step-free access matters to you.
Does the format change during the month?
Yes. The second-last Monday is a Step meeting and the last Monday is a Tradition meeting; other weeks follow general discussion.
Is there a cost, or do I need to book?
No, it is free and there is nothing to book in advance.
Who can attend this meeting?
AA members with a desire to stop drinking. It is not an open meeting for the wider public.
