Solas returns to the same crypt on Friday evening for an 8pm meeting, the second Solas session of the day alongside the earlier Friday morning one. It is closed to those with a desire to stop drinking. An online Zoom option is again available for members who cannot get to Dennehys Cross in person. Wheelchair access to the venue has not been confirmed. There is no cost and nothing to book in advance, as with all Alcoholics Anonymous meetings. Like every meeting the group holds through the week, it remains self-supporting and independent of any outside organisation.
Can family or friends come along?
This one runs on a closed basis, meaning it is for people with a desire to stop drinking. It is not open to the public in the way some AA meetings are.
Do I need to book, or does it cost anything?
No. Like all Alcoholics Anonymous meetings, it is free to attend and there is no need to book or register beforehand, just arrive when the meeting starts.
Can I join this meeting online instead of in person?
