On Fridays, the Rathdowney Group holds a second weekly meeting at 8.30pm, again in the Old YMCA Hall on Church Street, Rathdowney. This session has no fixed format, so expect open sharing among members rather than book study or step work. Like the Tuesday meeting, it is members-only, intended for those with a desire to stop drinking, though a newcomer needs no introduction to attend. Attendance is free and there is no requirement to book ahead. Wheelchair access at the venue has not been confirmed, so anyone with mobility needs may wish to check beforehand.
