On Thursdays at 8pm, Carrickmacross meets in Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan, at Teach Ui Bhrian. This meeting is closed, so it is reserved for people with a desire to stop drinking rather than for visitors or supporters. In keeping with AA practice, the format centres on shared experience rather than lectures or advice. The first Thursday of the month is given over to a Step meeting instead.
