Step Mtg.1st Fri of month
The Ballybay Friday Night Group meets weekly at 8.30pm at Cuan Mhuire on the Monaghan Road, Ballybay, Co. Monaghan, with a closed format for people with a desire to stop drinking. On the first Friday of each month, the meeting switches to a Step format, working through one of the Twelve Steps rather than open sharing, before returning to its usual pattern the rest of the month. Cuan Mhuire also hosts the separately run Corfad group's meetings through the week, so the venue is a well-used base for recovery meetings in the Castleblayney area. There is no charge and no need to book. Newcomers who meet the closed-meeting criterion should arrive shortly before half past eight, bearing in mind the Step format on the first Friday.
