Newcastle-Upon-Tyne Gosforth

The Gosforth meeting is held on Friday evenings at the Quaker Meeting House on West Ave, running for an hour from six o'clock. It is a closed meeting for AA members, giving a settled space to talk through recovery from a desire to stop drinking at the end of the working week. The Quaker Meeting House is wheelchair accessible and also has hearing loop provision confirmed, making it one of the more accessible venues among Newcastle upon Tyne's meetings for members with sight, mobility or hearing needs. No chit system is offered here. Gosforth sits to the north of the city centre, well served by bus routes and with parking available near the meeting house.
