Pickering Castle

Pickering Castle meets on Thursday evenings at the Friends Meeting House on Castlegate, close to Pickering's town centre, and runs for around an hour and fifteen minutes. It is an open AA meeting, so anyone with a desire to stop drinking is free to attend, including people who have never been to a meeting before. The venue offers both wheelchair access and support for those who are hard of hearing, making it a well-suited option for attendees with a range of access needs. Held weekly, the meeting gives the Pickering group a consistent midweek slot, and the longer format allows a little more room for members to share than a standard hour-long session.
