Assistance dogs only.
The Parbold Themed Meeting is held on Saturday mornings at 11am in The Hut On The Hill, in the village of Parbold between Wigan and Skelmersdale, and lasts an hour. Each week's session builds around a chosen theme rather than a fixed reading. It is an open meeting, welcoming anyone including family, friends and professionals alongside people with a desire to stop drinking. A chit system is available for court, probation or treatment purposes. The venue is wheelchair accessible, and only assistance dogs are permitted on site. There is no cost to attend and no booking process, as with every AA meeting, so newcomers can simply arrive shortly before 11am.
