Sawtry Step

Sawtry Step gives the village of Sawtry, between Huntingdon and Peterborough, its own Monday night Alcoholics Anonymous meeting, held at 8pm at the Old School House, 37 Green End Road. The meeting lasts an hour and a quarter and takes a step format, working through AA's Twelve Steps, the practical heart of the recovery programme. It is a closed meeting, meaning it is kept for people who have a desire to stop drinking themselves, and newcomers in that position are welcome from their very first night. The Old School House is wheelchair accessible. There is nothing to pay and no booking required; arriving shortly before 8pm is all the preparation needed.
