Vic Park Women’s

Vic Park Women's is a women's Alcoholics Anonymous meeting in Hackney, held on Wednesdays at 6.30pm at Prideaux House Community Centre, 10 Church Crescent, near Victoria Park. Doors open from 5.45pm, which leaves time to arrive, settle and have a word with someone before the hour-long meeting begins. It is a closed meeting, meaning it is for women who have, or think they may have, a desire to stop drinking; it is not a meeting for supporters or observers, who are welcome at open AA meetings elsewhere. The community centre is wheelchair accessible. There is no cost and no booking, and for women who find mixed meetings harder to speak in, this room exists precisely for that reason.
