Speaker mtg.
The Whitstable group of Alcoholics Anonymous meets every Wednesday evening at 8pm in the Narthex of St Alphege Church on the High Street, just inside the main door. The meeting runs for an hour and a half and follows a speaker format, in which a member shares their experience of drinking and recovery before the room opens up. It is an open meeting, so anyone may attend, including family members, friends and professionals who want to see how AA works. The venue is wheelchair accessible and there is provision for people who are hard of hearing. There is nothing to pay and no need to book; just come along on the night.
Who can attend the Whitstable AA meeting?
Anyone. This is an open meeting, which means you are welcome whether you are worried about your own drinking or supporting a partner, relative or friend. Professionals and students are welcome too.

No. AA meetings are free and there is no booking or registration. A collection pot is usually passed round for voluntary contributions, but nobody is expected to give anything. Just turn up shortly before 8pm on a Wednesday.
Is the venue accessible?
